Part 9: Bramshot Cooling Towers (579)

Cooling towers can be found scattered all around Pyestock, with most clustered near to the plant they help to cool.

The towers range from small, timber built ramshackle structures through to the huge concrete towers which serve the larger test cells. One of the most impressive is the Bramshot Cooling Towers which serves Cells 1 & 2.

Internally, cooling towers comprise of water tanks, huge voids above them, and enormous fans housed in the roof. Hot water pumped into the cooling tower is rapidly cooled as the fans effectively suck all the heat into the atmosphere.

The Bramshot Cooling Tower is the largest with 30 separate fans mounted on its roof.
