The rest of the small control room is dominated by the control panels for the exhauster. The paperwork includes maintenance schedules and operating instructions, all still left in-situ.

I assume the loudspeaker was connected to Cell 4 and/or the Air House so instructions for the starting and stopping of the exhauster could be coordinated.
