The Buildings

We move back down to the ground floor and carefully creep through the darkened corridors of the southern east-west corridor. There are a huge number of cable runs here; originally these would’ve been data and control wiring connecting various cells to their associated computers, but I suspect this is all wiring to connect Cell 3 to its control room.

Checking back with Mike's plans, this area was once a storage room and the 60Hz Motor generation set for the SDS 9300's drums. When this computer was removed, it looks like these small rooms were also dismantled, therefore creating this corridor.

Just around the corner, all the wiring dives down underground, and can be followed via Monk’s Tunnel.
