Inside, the Battle Test House is gloomy and dark. The huge boilers and tanks take up most of the floor
space, gantries and ladders slot in between them, and pipes, ducts and wiring mesh and entwine in the space
left.
The whole boiler room appears to be a twisted mass of metal.

"On the left, behind the green supporting steelwork, can be seen the
auxiliary steam turbine, or 'turbo', drive for one of the boiler's Forced Draught Blowers.
These blowers, or fans, provided pressurised combustion air to the boiler furnaces. To the
right is a bottom water drum of one of the Admiralty pattern 3-Drum Boilers" - David
