The Buildings

home | the buildings | air house cooling towers (418) | further pictures...

The Air House Cooling Towers were built to the south of the Air House. Despite the appearance of a substantially built structure, particularly with the array of cooling fans on the roof, the whole building was built from wooden frames bolted together.

This is the view from the top of the Air House and shows the open cooling vents along the entire western side of the building.
